Blessing Baskets

Share the Joy of a Happy Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, many local households will struggle to enjoy the festivities. We aim to remedy that through our Blessing Basket program, which benefits the local charity, Strengthen Our Sisters. You can share the joy of this holiday with the families who need it most by joining locals like KW Village Square Realty’s Only Orly Group and Team Bottino at Sam’s Bar & Grill on November 15th from 4-7 pm. You can Dine to Donate even if you don’t register to make a basket.

If you can’t make it to the event, please show your support by spreading the word! You can also click here to donate to Zonta’s Venmo.

What is Zonta?

Zonta International is a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy. Founded in 1919 in Buffalo, New York, Zonta has spent over 100 years committed to the vision of a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

Zonta in Ringwood

Since 2010, Zonta Club of Ringwood has been supporting local efforts through advocacy, service projects, scholarships and fundraising, as well as extending aid to women and children worldwide through the efforts of Zonta International.  Over the past decade we have raised thousands of dollars per year to support community-based programs, scholarships and international projects making a positive impact on the lives of women and girls.

Over a Decade of Service

In the past 13 years we’ve helped provide school supplies for underprivileged children, food for hungry families, and support for victims of domestic abuse. In addition to our work with local charities, we also award scholarships to young women heading to college for the first time, and single mothers returning to school to further their education.
